Compare Medigap or Medicare Advantage plans to find the best coverage for your healthcare needs and budget.

Medigap and Medicare Advantage plans cannot work together. In fact, if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan in Yuma Arizona, it’s illegal for anyone to sell you a Medigap policy.
A Medigap policy pays for copays, coinsurance and deductibles not covered by Original Medicare. A Medicare Advantage plan may have benefits that are not covered by Original Medicare or a Medigap policy.
Medigap policies work well with Original Medicare, which covers 80 percent of Medicare-covered services. For people with serious medical conditions, Medigap may be the way to go as it allows you to have access to any doctor or provider who accepts Medicare. Medigap plans have specific benefits with out-of-pocket costs outlined upfront.
Medicare Advantage plans cover Medicare Parts A and B and may also include other benefits like dental, vision, hearing and prescription drugs. They are known for having low monthly premiums and high out-of-pocket expenses. A Medicare Advantage plan may help save money for people who are generally healthy but you will need a referral from a primary care doctor to see a specialist.
If you choose a plan that you are ultimately unhappy with there may be opportunities to switch from a Medigap plan to a Medicare Advantage and vice versa.
