- Should I use an agent for Medicare?
- An independent Medicare agent shops every carrier available in your ZIP code rather than one company's lineup, and it costs you nothing. Carriers pay agents a standard commission regardless of which plan you choose, so there is no financial incentive to steer you toward a particular plan.
- How much does a CSG Insurance Pros agent cost?
- Nothing. Our services are completely free to you, and our agency continues to serve you year to year at no cost. Insurance carriers pay the agent commission, not you.
- How do I know which doctors I can see?
- With a Medicare Advantage plan you must use the doctors and providers in your network, so check with your doctor before your visit. With a Medicare Supplement plan you can see any doctor who accepts Medicare, anywhere in the country.
- When can I enroll in Medicare?
- Your Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before you turn 65, includes your birth month, and ends three months after. The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 through December 7 each year, and the Open Enrollment Period runs January 1 through March 31. You can enroll in or switch a Medicare Supplement plan at any time.
